My heart is breaking
My soul is aching
You're sitting so close to me
Yet you feel so far away.
I wish I could say that one thing
That will bring us closer.
Just to say that one thing
That would make you mine.
I wish it didn't hurt so much
When I think about you or say your name
Come back to me, I won't hurt you
Not like she did
No, I'll be better than that.
I'll tell you that I love you everyday
With my heart and soul
And I'll always be faithful to you, you know this
So come back to me so that we can be whole
