Very pissed at "LP fans" and Tool fans.

I was so excited to watch the Pomona concert on the KROQ stream and I thought that by going on a forum with other fans would enhance the experience. WRONG!!!

I went to the lplive forum. At first it was great, the stream was lagging a lot, but from what I heard Chester was sounding better then ever. Then I think it was LOATR, people started to complain and bitch. twitch People, at the LAST concert of 09, were still complaining about the setlist being the same and that Chester was sounding "horrible". Basically it turned into a bitch fest that, a day later, is still going on!

My opinion. This tour was a make-up and break from writing and short. There was no need to change it up, but they did anyway! New Divide and Session (totally badass) were added. Then at the FANS request Mike changed up the intros/outros to Points. We finally got to hear Dedicated for the first time live! But because Runaway and Figure 09 weren't played it wasn't good enough for some people. This is such crap. LP is NOT playing for the people analyzing the setlists, but for those who go see them. The people who go can't all be hardcore fans, if fact most probably only know their popular songs. So to entertain them they play those songs! Plus the setlist will completely change in their next touring cycle because the new album will be out. And when it does I know those people will still be bitching.

Another thing, the crowd at Pomona sucked. They throw a WATER BOTTLE at Mike!!! They booed DBS (who sounded amazing) because they wanted Tool. Then Tool didn't even play good or even let fans at home watch them on the webcast. Chester posted on his twitter that he felt bummed after the show. He shouldn't have to feel like that. That was the only US show and that's how they get payed back!

Just felt like ranting about this.
