Hello there! I'm Cátia, feel free to add me. :)
The band and their music are huge inspirations to me. I've had the privilege of seeing and meeting them on three occasions: I got to be the LPU Roadie For The Day at Rock in Rio Lisboa 2012 (Thank you, Adam!), and I ended up seeing them again in 2014, at the same festival. Most recently, I traveled to Germany to see them in Bremen. Thanks for all the great memories, guys.

You're welcome! I really hope you can find something that will make you happy, because that's what matters. :) Oh no, that's not good! Hope you feel better very soon! I'm doing ok, thanks. Just resting this weekend to get ready for next week, lol. *Hugs & much Linkinlove.* ^_^

No problem! :) Exactly, and that was my thought when I was reading about those writing jobs. It could be very easy to find one that isn't legit; but I'm sure there are honest ones out there, the problem would be finding it. :-/
Aww, that would be awesome if you could get a job where your dad works! I wish there was something you could do to prove that you would be great for the job and give you a chance! I really hope something will work out for you! I know how difficult (and frustrating!) it can be to search for a job. :-( But don't give up!
There must be something out there! You've been working hard and you deserve to be rewarded for that! I wish you the very best and if there's anything I can do, I'm here! *hugs* :)

Thank you! Yes, it's been very fun, plus it feels meaningful; like I'm actually helping others in a positive way, and that's rewarding. Being a pharmacy tech was rewarding too, but this feels like a good fit. Exactly, that's something else I love about it because everyday is different and I don't have to see the same scenery everyday or deal with the same situations. So the variety is very nice and refreshing. :)
You're very welcome and I'm honored to be able to help! :) I can definitely relate to what you said about lacking the motivation, because I deal with that, too. :-/ And it's even more difficult when you're trying to find a job. But science, writing and animals are great fields! I love writing, science was my favorite subject in school and I love animals, so I can totally relate!
Like you said, however, it's very difficult to find something when you don't have a degree. :-( But that doesn't mean it's impossible! Do you know anyone who works at a library? Maybe some networking could help? Or volunteering for a short time could open up a permanent job somewhere? The thing is just trying to find those, lol!
Yeah, I'm not sure how writing for some websites would work, but maybe searching through some sites online to find something legit. I found that article about writing for sites on AOL earlier this week. I've also heard about it years ago and was thinking about looking into it myself, but it's definitely something to consider.
But most importantly, it's finding something that will make you happy and that will also be flexible for you. :)

You're welcome! And thanks, it really was the BEST time of my whole life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) I help people apply for insurance through what's called here the marketplace (it's insurance that was enforced by our President). And part of my job is working at local health centers that I'm assigned to and signing up the uninsured. Plus, I also travel to meet clients, to try to be a little more accessible, and also do events at libraries and such venues to encourage people to enroll in coverage.
Then, I'll be helping small businesses get insurance coverage for their employees. It's really fun and I love it because it's very flexible and can make my own schedule. And right now, it's quite busy, which is good. Before I got this job I was a pharmacy technician at a retail pharmacy chain. Being a pharmacy tech is fun, but the retail setting was not for me, mainly because the schedule was so harsh.
So I definitely wouldn't recommend a job in retail. I have other friends in retail and their schedules are hectic and you have to plan your life around work, which can be stressful. Nothing against retail jobs, but they can be hectic. :-/ I'm not too sure what the economy is like where you live, but I would maybe look for some type of job that's like behind-the-scenes kind of work maybe? I recently read yesterday about some websites that will pay you for writing posts for them on different topics. So that's a thought. But most importantly, what are your interests? Maybe write them down and list them, and maybe that could help put some things in perspective for looking for a job with the right fit.
You're so right, because now is the time to live your life and enjoy it! And you want to be able to go to work and enjoy what you do, and that brings much satisfaction. :) Hope this has been of some help! Please let me know what you think, and hopefully we can toss some ideas around to help you find something! :) *hugs*

You're welcome! Aww, thanks so much! Yes, I'm really enjoying my new job because I feel like I can actually get to live my life at the same time, lol. It's been a lot of fun so far. :) Thanks, and seeing LP was, omg I can't describe it! I thought that my 1st concert of theirs couldn't possibly be beaten, but this was far more incredible. <3
Wow, that sounds like a spectacular experience! So happy you got to see LP and spend time with your friend! You deserved that experience, and I'm so thrilled for you!!! =) YAY!!!
