Hi, I'm Emanuela (but Ema is better), and I'm from Italy.

I've been listening to Linkin Park since late 2007/early 2008, I don't remember exactly, and I immediately liked the songs I listened to. . . .
Then, after a while, I hadn't listened to them for some months, 'cause of bad memories running through my mind with the music, but that period didn't last too much (but it was neither so short; I mean, not a whole year, but it lasted a bunch of months), 'cause I realized it was just a stupid thing: who is that fuckin guy (the guy that introduced me to LP, but also the guy that disappointed me so much betraying my trust some times later) to make me stop listening to LP? Well, nobody. So, fuck him. And so I started listening to LP again :) . . .
And that was a wiser decision, also because many of their songs seemed to describe exactly the way I felt/had felt or/and what I thought/had though, and that helped me a lot in that one and other, various, situations.
They've always given me the strength to go on.
They've made my world sounds better.
They've meant (and obviously still mean) so much to me. And I owe them a lot.
And this kind of feeling still lasts and helps me, both in bad moments and in happy moments of my life.
Both music and lyrics; the beats, the rhythm and the melody. I can always find something (a word, a chord, a note, a phrase, a beat, something said in a certain way, etc) to identify myself with, or just something to make me feel better.
I don't know if this makes sense, it's something that isn't so easy to explain, you know...
And that's something I can't feel for every band I listen to, but actually only for a few ones. And LP are among these for sure, and so they and their music became more and more important to me. . . .
And, also, thanks to LP I've met some wonderful people and friends :) . . .
Finally, I saw them for the first time in Milan on June 10th, 2014! :') such a great and emotional show, we were "the loudest crowd ever" (as Chester said) :') And I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet them in person at the M&G! *-* they're such kind, fun and down-to-heart people! :)

Milano (Italy) - June 10, 2014 (+M&G) ;
Zurich (Switzerland) - November 3, 2014 (+M&G)

I've been a LPUer since November 2011. And I can say LPU is worth those 45 sandwiches per year I had not eaten in order to buy my annual memberships LOL
Proud member of it :)

Fav LP songs?
Too many too, I cannot even pick just one, neither one per album. I tried, but in the end I realized I was going to list almost the whole tracklists hahah
Even if I have really a special relation with FROM THE INSIDE, I owe that song really a lot... even if it's not the ONLY special one to me, but I'm not gonna list you every special ones, cuz they're too many and I'll end up listing most of their songs ;D lol . . .
Every song is special in its own way! . . .
I'm not gonna say old LP (or new LP) are better... they're just different, but anyway I think they're always LP: I mean, they always have some special features I can recognize as particular LPish (for the music, the lyrics, the style, the topics, the feelings and emotions they can communicate, etc...) . . .
Even if, at first, I needed some time and listenings with open heart+open mind+open ears+open soul to "digest" and feel it, now I can say I love ATS. . . .
I love every album, as I said, in its own particular way.
I just love LP, new, old, middle, whatever.. LOL
From their earliest demos to their latest stuff (THP is amazing!)

Uhm, what else? ... I fuckin' love music, I really can't live without it. I'm not kidding!! . . . Aishiteru, Music. Thanks for being here, by my side, every time I need you ;)

I'm a guitar player. I learnt to play the guitar (the electric one, first of all) almost by myself, back in 2007 or something like that..
And in 2012, I tried to (re)learn to play the keyboard too.
I play both cover and song I try to write.
I like singing too. I like to throw out what I feel through the music, both listening to it, and playing/singing it. Even if I'm not that out of tune, I'm kinda embarassed to sing with other people so...LOL

FAV BANDS & bands I like: Linkin Park, Dead By Sunrise, Fort Minor, Papa Roach, coldrain, Metallica, Bullet For My Valentine, Glamour Of The Kill, Nightwish, Rage Against The Machine, Guns N' Roses (the "old" GNR), U2, AC/DC, Ramones, REM, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Grey Daze, Rise Against, Queen, Pearl Jam, Joan Jett, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Bon Jovi, Green Day (the old ones), Velvet Revolver, Soundgarden, Audioslave, One Ok Rock, and other more...

Hobbies: listening to music, playing guitar, singing, playing keyboard/synth, writing, reading, composing music, watching anime, drawing & painting, hanging out with friends, playing with friends, going to gigs, etc...

Other interests:
Languages, mostly (American) English and Japanese.. (And so, I'm attending courses of these 2 languages at University)
Computers & technologies..
LP-related things (..you don't say?!? LOL)
Uhm...have I already said music? :D

Omg, yeah, it just gives us another reason to love them even more, because they're so awesome! It's so sweet how comfortable they make you feel around them. ^_^ Congrats on passing your other exam, too! Lol, yeah that album must be a lucky charm! Whooo!
Yeah, I haven't started on it yet, but I definitely want to try to create my own art for the album. Hopefully it works out, lol! Yes, I'll definitely share it with you once I'm done! :)
I've been finding myself just listening to Keys to the Kingdom and All for Nothing repeatedly! LOL! It's like I have a problem, because I'm hooked on those songs and they're the ones I've been listening to the most recently. It's awesome that you feel the same way about Drawbar, too! I think because maybe it sounds so soothing and just reminds me of how I need to be by the ocean whenever I hear it. :)
A Line in the Sand hasn't grown on me yet, but it's not too bad. Yeah, it's different because of how it keeps changing, which is cool. But overall, it's still Linkin Park and I've been happy to rock out to some new music! =)
Thanks so much! The concert is a little over a month away! I'm so excited! I'm extra thrilled to be going with my best friend, too! I knew that my first LP show back in 2012 was going to be incredible, but I had no idea I'd also meet someone who'd become one of my best friends. :) Plus, it's great to have someone to go with me who loves LP as much as I do and will freak out with me and go wild at the show, haha. Because I know I'm going crazy when they start playing, lol. I'm almost even more excited to see AFI, since I've been wanting to see them live for years. This is going to be a HUUUUUUGE event, lol! =)
That's awesome and I hope you'll be able to see them this fall! Yeah, I saw the EU dates and got so excited because I was thinking of how happy all you soldiers must be to see them! =) That's so awesome!!! But Holy Shinoda! Those prices are INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *groans* Those special packages were offered for the Carnivores Tour as well and I thought about getting it, but after I saw the prices I said, "NOPE!"
That's far too expensive. When I met Papa Roach last year, the prices for the VIP packages were very affordable and I didn't hesitate at all when I decided to get those, but this is outrageous. :-/
The economy is quite crappy everywhere, this makes no sense, lol. It's a great offer because you know you'll get to meet the band, but the prices are awful. Probably years ago I would have jumped at that opportunity, but now times are different, lol.
So yeah, I'm confused about it, too! It was great hearing from you and I hope you have an awesome week! Take care, my dear! =) *hugs*

Hello, my friend! Aww, that's so sweet! ^_^ I totally agree with what you said about how sweet and kind the guys are, because even when I saw them in concert I got great vibes from them, like they're honest and good souls. :) They're such huge rockstars, but after all this time they're still so humble and loving. That really says something special about their character and makes you love them and their music even more because you know for a fact that they do what they do because they love it and they love us. :) And that's something that's rare these days.
Dude, major congrats on passing your Japanese exam, too! It's awesome that you rocked out to "The Hunting Party" while you were getting ready for it! That's encouragement right there! It's also exciting that you got your package, too! I ordered the cd with the art booklet and I received mine yesterday. :)
I love the album, but I wasn't so excited about the art. :-/ So, since I'm not thrilled about the art for the album, I decided that this summer I'm going to try to get back into my art by creating my own art for "The Hunting Party." I just want to listen to the album and see how it inspires me and create the art I wanted to see. I'm hoping I can get started on it sometime this summer and I'll let you know how it goes, haha. :)
To be honest, my favorites were "Until It's Gone" and "All For Nothing." When I heard "All For Nothing" the very first time, as soon as I heard Mike's rapping my whole body went into shock! I was like, "WHOOOOOOAAAA! THIS IS MIND-BLOWING!!!!!!!!" He came in with such ferocity and it took me way back! I loved it! I also love "Drawbar," it sounds so pensive and beautiful; like when I hear it I feel like I need to be by the ocean. And after listening to the album several times, I fell in love with "Keys to the Kingdom." It's heavy and fierce, absolutely rocking! =)
Yes, I'm going to see them in August! I'm going with my best friend that I met at my first LP concert from two years ago. =) I'm so excited! But in the meantime, I'm just trying to get myself ready for the experience because it's going to be a huge event! Yay!
What are some of your favorite songs from the new album? :) I'm just so glad it came out when it did; it was just what I needed. :) Sorry for such a long comment, but I'm just so excited about all the happy news we've had with LP! LOL! :) Take care and I hope you're doing well! *hugs* =)
