I know most newer LPU members don't know me.I was a recurring member starting from LPU6.0 spanning til LPU12 I Believe.I just wanted to say that I am still in disbelief over all that has transpired since Chester passed. It is saddening to me because LP molded my musical taste and Chester was a pioneer to it. If it wasn't for this band, I wouldn't have started writing myself. I connected to the band in terms of their lyrics but eventually just got lost in my own life and doing my own things and little by little lost interest.
I met the band, met Chester and overall it was a beautiful experience. I am the owner of the Signed Dowdell Tape. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Chester was so hyped seeing this cassette and was in utter disbelief. It was a simple moment, but a moment that made me smile because I know I made his day that day.
I was actually pretty hyped to see the band once again before the news broke out. It was saddening to me because of all Chester suffered and endured in his life. I even shed some tears and fell into a depression because of it. I was also at the tribute show and along with my LP Bro's and Sisters we made the atmosphere one of the best in his remembrance. I just wanted to say that I am here if anyone wants to talk and will continue to help any one of you if you need a friend.
RIP Chester Bennington, you really were an inspiration and you possibly won't ever know how many people loved you and appreciated you.
I just look more deep down the rabbit hole, and see a completely different story, a story that many wouldn't understand..
